  1. Hi,

  3. This is the latest release of my fastlane driver implemented in a 5th Jan
  4. -current based GENERIC kernel. This kernel was built and tested on the
  5. 30th on January 95.
  6.  
  7. It has been tested with a conned CP-3200 harddisk and a EXABYTE 8505 tape
  8. streamer. The disk has been used as /usr for the last couple of days without
  9. any problems noted. The streamer was tested with a full system backup and
  10. compare with tar also with no problems noted.

  12. This version uses synchronous transfer but not reselection. I still have a
  13. race conflict to deal with.
  14.  
  15. This kernel is distributed "as is" and I give no guaranties that it will
  16. work. All I know is that I'm using it at home on my A4000/040 without
  17. problems.
